About Rachel
Hi! I’m Rachel, and I’m so glad you are here! My desire is to empower and care for women throughout this process called motherhood through my background as a postpartum nurse, doula, and author.
Having the combined experience of 17 plus years as a mother-baby nurse, childbirth educator, and Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator, I have a passion for helping soon-to-be and new mothers make a successful journey into all pregnancy and motherhood has to offer.
It’s no secret that motherhood is tough. I hope to make it better for you! As a bonus, you will also find some pretty stellar recipes here from my own kitchen.
I’m a wife and mom of three. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and married in 2007 when we immediately went into church ministry. Since then, we added three kids to the mix. There’s not even one time it’s all been “perfect.” Our story is sprinkled with heartache, loss, depression, miscarriage, and struggle. Yet, somehow always triumph on the other side.
None of our stories come without struggle, and mine is certainly no different. This is why perfection isn’t required here. Whether it’s motherhood, marriage, or anything else in between, the process is welcomed. Come as you are, and leave with what you need. Life will never be flawless, but there is peace in the midst of pain, joy available in sadness, and love in the presence of grief.
Thank you for stopping by! MamaDidIt was established in 2020 to be all about embracing where you are, working through the process of life, and empowering you in the journey!
I’m glad you’re here!
