These beat the store-bought pizza Lunchables any day! Here’s the Best DIY Pizza Lunchable Recipe. (plus a quick how-to video guide)

Copycat homemade lunchable pizzas are super easy to make. These mini pizzas are made with better ingredients, are more budget-friendly, and are perfect for a bento box or lunch box. I’m going to show you exactly what to do for the easiest and Best DIY Pizza Lunchable Recipe.

I don’t know about you, but it hurts a little when I purchase Lunchables from the store. Though these have a bit of nostalgia for me, It’s hard to believe how much they cost for what’s inside of them. Almost $2 for 3 little crusts! And the list of the ingredients on the back is a bit ridiculous.

I set out to find an alternative. The trick was finding something my kids would eat and wouldn’t feel deprived with. This has become one of their favorite copycat recipes. It’s the perfect easy lunch.

Pair it with some fresh fruit or tossed salad, and I feel much better about this quick lunch than the alternative. It’s not only great for the school year, but it has made for a fun summer picnic lunch with friends.

DIY Pizza Lunchables

With just four simple ingredients, these are great for kids lunches. Let’s be honest though, I’ve definitely had my share. If you are going to pack them for school lunches, be sure to include a plastic spoon so they can spread the sauce on the pizza crust.

I like to go with organic ingredients as much as I can, but you don’t have to. Do what works best for your family.

The best naan bread for us has been the Stonefire Naan Dippers. They are found at just about any grocery store and are perfect for little hands.

The Best DIY Pizza Lunchable Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Stonefire Naan Dippers
  • Organic marinara sauce (need a quick homemade pizza sauce? See below)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Nitrate-free pepperoni (or your favorite)

1. Lay out the naan dippers on a plate (we do four per kid).

2. Add one spoonful of sauce to each naan dipper.

3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.

4. Add pepperoni. I cut the pepperoni into quarters just for fun.

5. Microwave for 20-30 seconds until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

How simple is that? Lightening fast and way more budget-friendly than store-bought! And if the kids want more, it’s easy to make their wishes come true.
