I am picky about my chocolate. If I’m going to eat it (and believe me, I am!) it’s going to be good. These double fudge brownies are moist and fudgy. They are everything a brownie should be…more chocolatey then sugary, and moist not dry.

These are also a kid favorite!

Double Fudge Brownie Recipe

  • 2 sticks of butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
I ate four right after they cooled!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9×13 baking dish and set aside. Melt butter in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in cocoa until smooth. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Stir in vanilla, and fold in chocolate chips. Pour in your 9×13 dish and spread out evenly. Place in your oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Brownies should be just set in the middle. They will continue to cook when removed from the oven. Allow to cool before cutting them. Hope you enjoy!
